Meet Jordan - the son in whom Abedi Pele is well pleased

Of all his three sons, former Ghana Captain and three-time African footballer of the year, Abedi Ayew, known professionally as Abedi Pele has singled out Jordan as the most talented and gifted.
His other two sons, Rahim and Andre are great footballers but Jordan seems to be impressing him more than his brothers. His first born, Rahim was a non-playing Ghana squad member at the 2010 world cup; Andre, the most popular is a Swansea winger and Jordan Ayew plays for Aston Villa.

Goal.com reports that Jordan has been at the receiving end, attracting criticisms for lackadaisical approach and profligacy in front of goal.

“They are both my children and you take each person with his qualities. However, I am not the only person to say that Jordan is the most talented, even Andre also says that."

“Jordan has got speed and he is very elegant and nice to watch. He is relaxed, skilful and has strength. He has got all the ingredients to be a good striker.

“In France, he proved it a couple of times but he is still young and we are working on him to be the best, not only in Ghana but in the world.”
