It looks like a scene from a movie, only that this one is real. A hippopotamus walks along a flooded street in Tbilisi Sunday, after animals including lions and tigers escaped from flooded zoo enclosures. 12 people also lost their lives, officials said.
AFP reports that soldiers and police were hunting down the animals, shooting others dead and recapturing some, while rescuers airlifted scores of people trapped by the floods.:
