Some animals are really
getting very vicious these days. The other day in Tbilisi, Georgia, it was
hippopotamus, lions and tigers on rampage and now sharks have gone hay wire chopping
off limbs of beachgoers.
Two teenagers on Sunday lost
both their left limbs to raging sharks less than two hours apart in separate
incidents off Oak Island, North Carolina. It sounds so scary. Imagine swimming
and feeling great only for it to be truncated by a large, angry fish from
nowhere. OMG, it must have been a sight!
The
teens, a girl aged 12 and boy 16 had been swimming about 20 yards offshore, in
waist-deep water. It’s a pity entering the water whole and coming out maimed.
Will
this deter beachgoers from catching some fun? Your guess is as good as mine.
