Serena and Venus Williams withdraw from Wimbledon doubles

Serena Williams (L) and Venus Williams of the U.S. talk during their doubles match against Garbine Muguruza …

Wimbledon has been dealt a major blow with the Williams sisters, American five-time Wimbledon women's doubles champion pulling out of the 2015 tournament. It's rather quite unfortunate that tennis lovers would be denied the joy of seeing the sensational sisters at the tournament.
According to the All England Club, no reason was given for their withdrawal.
They won the women's doubles title in 2000, 2002, 2008, 2009 and 2012. It's a true assertion that nature abhors a vacuum so, they have already been replaced in the draw by the lucky losers, Misaki Doi (Japan) and Stephanie Vogt (Liechtenstein).
